ISES opens Rs. 100m office complex


The International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd (ISES) opened its new five storeyed office recently in Daisy Villa Avenue, Bambalapitiya with an investment of Rs. 100 million.

The International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd is an reputed overseas educational consultant representing prestigious universities and institutes in Australia, UK, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, Dubai, USA and Canada.

ISES provide career guidance, assistance in selecting a suitable course in a reputed institute overseas, visa consultancy, accommodation options, career options and all other information for students free of charge.

The International Scholar Educational Services (Pvt) Ltd CEO, Keerthi Jayasuriya said, “We have invested Rs. 100 million for the ISES building and the property at Bambalapitiya belongs to us.”

“Within the next 10 years, my target is to give hundred scholarships to deserving people and less fortunate. Up to now we have sent over 2,000 students and we have counseled over ten thousand students,” he said.

“The government should check the people who come here to promote their education institutes here in Sri Lanka and only allowed those who have a worthy type of programs to offer Sri Lankan students, they should be allowed to operate in Sri Lanka.

The government should check the credibility and experience of the institutes which they have and the institutes that operate here should be accredited by the government,” he said.

“Our hard earned foreign exchange has been using by parents of this country to send their children to study abroad and this money should not be wasted unnecessarily. Our target is to continue this service and to serve the rich and the poor. I have established a fund to continue this work,” he added.

“This five storied building with a roof top swimming pool, have all the modern amenities to satisfy the present day customer. One side of the first floor is allocated for the office with state-of-the-art-facilities for students and parents providing career guidance advice in a more spacious and comfortable environment. The auditorium can accommodate 100 participants at a time and is fully air conditioned fully equipped with most modern audio visual facilities. The second, third, fourth floors have fully furnished luxury apartments with all the facilities for a person looking for comfortable living close to Colombo at an affordable price,” he noted.

The chief guest for the event was Azmi Zainuddin, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Sri Lanka. The guest of honor, Dr. John Dunkan, General Manager, Deakin Colleges, Australia, guest of honor, Kabilan Muniandy, Managing Director of Winning Magnitude, Malaysia, Ruckmalie Jayasuriya, Directress, ISES also participated at the event.
