  • Pathways Academic Scholarships 2013

These scholarships are awarded on academic merit and are available to selected students who apply for a package of Foundation Studies and/or Uni Link Diploma with an undergraduate degree.
 
Scholarships up to the value of $ 9000 will be awarded to the students with the strongest academic backgrounds.
 
Students who commence ELICOS in any intake with a view to commencing their academic pathway program in 2013 will also be eligible for the Swinburne Pathways Scholarship.

  • Two-year Masters Scholarships 2013

The Two-year Masters Scholarships are available to selected students who apply for a Masters by coursework program with a duration of 92 weeks or more.
 
Scholarships up to the value of $6000 will be awarded to the students with a strong academic background or work experience.
  • Postgraduate Coursework Scholarships 2013

These scholarships will be awarded to high achieving students applying from outside Australia for an English language program (ELICOS) packaged with a Masters degree commencing in 2013.

Scholarship application is assessed based on the applicant’s previous academic results and must meet the minimum selection criteria (75% or overall grade of A)

The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs for scholarship holders, and health cover costs for their dependents for two years of Masters Research degree or three year of Research Doctoral degrees.

La Trobe University: International

La Trobe’s Academic Excellence Scholarships (AES) for high achieving international students of La Trobe’s undergraduate and postgraduate coursework programs. (Average score of 85% or above)
 
The scholarships are non-renewable tuition fee awards of A$10 000-$20 000 paid across a maximum period of two semesters (or twelve months).

  • Undergraduate and postgraduate regional campus scholarships (A$5000)

Students who study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at one of the regional campuses in Bendigo, Shepparton, Albury-Wodonga or Mildura can apply for a scholarship.
The University will offer 6 scholarships of A$ 5000 to eligible students for commencement of studies in 2013.
 
  • Bachelor of Civil Engineering at the Bendigo campus starting in Semester 1 (March) 2013.

The scholarship, worth $20 000 over four years (or $5 000 per year, subject to satisfactory progress)
 
(70 per cent or above in year 12 or equivalent).
 
  • International Postgraduate Research Scheme (IPRS) and La Trobe University Fee Remission Research Scholarship (LTUFRRS)

Both scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and are designed to cover tuition fees for a period of two years for a Master's by Research degree and three years for a Doctoral (PhD) degree.
 
The closing date for these scholarships is 30 September for students who wish to begin their studies the following year.

 


 

University of Tasmania – Tasmanian International Scholarships (TIS)

IPRS cover international tuition fees & Overseas Student Health Cover for recipients and their dependents who enrolled full-time in a higher degree by research at the University of Tasmania.
 
The IPRS also provides The University of Tasmania will also provide a living allowance, in 2013 AUD $24,653 per year, to IPRS recipients.

The scholarship will cover approximately 75% of the on-campus accommodation costs at one of the Launceston Halls of Residence and is available for the first academic year of study. Recipients must apply for accommodation with UTAS Accommodation Services and cover the application fee of A$80 plus bond of A$500
 

RMIT University

Foundation
For international student enrolling in Foundation Studies at RMIT, this scholarship could pay a contribution towards the tuition fees.
 
Values and duration
The scholarship pays $4000 towards your tuition fees.
 
Number of scholarships available
Scholarships are available each year, and one will be awarded for each program intake, commencing with the February 2013 intake.
 
RMIT Master of Biotechnology,
Scholarships are initially for one year but are reassessed at the end of your first year at RMIT. The value is $5000 per year.
 
There is no open or closing date. You will be notified about whether you have received a scholarship by 30 June for the July intake and 15 February for February intake.
 
  • International Postgraduate Research Scholarship (IPRS)

The scholarship provides tuition fees and the cost of an Overseas Student Health Cover policy for the duration of your program. (This is normally three years for a research doctorate degree and two years for a research master degree.)
 

Charles Sturt University

  • UG & PG scholarships (Academic Merit Scholarship)

The value of the scholarship is equal to 20% of the tuition fee paid on the first eight subjects of the CSU course.
