Shahdia Jamaldeen from Ladies College Colombo, took a big step in her life on 11th of September 2009 when she decided to get the services of International Scholar as well as to apply to study at Taylor's University in Malaysia. With her excellent A/L results she was awarded a 30% scholarship from Taylor's University. As a result of the hard work in her student life at Taylor's, achieving the highest performance, she was recently nominated to the Dean's List of Taylor's University in January / February 2011 semester. We are proud to announce that we at International Scholar Educational Services have been able to secure the first Sports Scholarship awarded by Nottingham University Malaysia Campus for a Sri Lankan student. This scholarship is for people who have got a proven track record of exceptional achievements in sports as well as in education. The award of this scholarship is testimony that Nottingham University Malaysia is not only focused on producing quality graduates but encouraging a holistic education to produce balanced personalities for the ultimate benefit of society. Ruchika Amresh Jayawickreme is an all-rounder in every sense of the word who has climbed to great heights in sports as well as in education. He is a top Tennis Player and represented Sri Lanka at the last Commonwealth Games and has been in Sri Lanka's Davies Cup team. He is also a Top swimmer. Ruchika has also achieved the rare feat of getting an IELTS score of 9.0. In the Sri Lankan A/Ls he achieved the grades of 1A and 2B passes.
